Current activities
Funding for publications ends with the year 2009 due to Tanzplan’s limited ‘lifetime’ (until 2010).
Tanzplan Deutschland launched a project to fund dance publications in the spring of 2007. This programme, which disbursed € 20,000 annually and is now ended due to the limits of Tanzplan Deutschland’s ‘lifetime’, funded the production of subject-specific, interdisciplinary publications ranging from dissertations, research projects and essays through to translations, including in digital form.

Mime Centrum Berlin, Video server: This work, information and documentation centre, founded in 1990, is focused on establishing a public media centre for dance and theatre. Expansion of the existing database and the development of a video server, from which users will be able to obtain further information on artists mainly working in Berlin, should be complete by May 2009. www.mimecentrum.de
