Project description
At the first meeting in Frankfurt, representatives from the state-run training institutions with courses of study in Dance Education/Dance Pedagogy discussed their work. Based on the results of that meeting, deficits were identified and ideas for expanding the training of dance educators developed.
In addition to the dance education study courses at the Musikhochschulen (music universities) sports faculties that provide qualifications in the area of dance education have also been invited. Representatives of the Berufsverband Tanzpädagogik (German professional association of dance educators), the Dachverband Tanz Deutschland / Ständigen Konferenz Tanz and the National Association for Dance in Schools were also present at this meeting.
