Support is provided for all fields of art and culture. The foundation’s goal is to create appropriate frameworks for lasting improvement of conditions for producing artistic and cultural products. The German Federal Cultural Foundation was founded in 2002 by the Federal German government and has its seat in Halle/Saale. With an annual budget of 35 million Euros, it is one of the largest cultural foundations in Europe.
