North Germany’s Dance Summit - Tanzplan Bremen

Current Activities
The City of Bremen will continue funding the local dance scene at the same level of 130,000 euros, 48,000 euros of which be used for the German Dance Film Institute. The steptext dance project will continue to stage the ExtraFrei Tanzplan Festival with the Staatstheater Hannover and with additional funding from the City of Bremen and the State of Lower Saxony. The North German Dance Meeting will not continue in its current form although the Staatstheater Hannover intends to use the idea to stage exchanges with other local dance companies. (May 2011)
